Characters / allies / heroes from a new story idea of mine which I'm going to title Black Jack.

BLACK JACK
An echo is the repetition of sound waves as the reflect off the surface, just as this world of Earth is an echo of our own world. The key to unlock it lies within Echo...a not-so-ordinary teenage girl who would rather party than help others.

With the ability to unlock the dimensional doorway between her world and theirs, she quickly learns that there are people who would love to get their hands on her for not-so-pleasant purposes.

She quickly learns who to trust and who not to as Vaughn and his cronies try to capture her to take her power for their own to make the puddles in the sky open as doorways to let them into the world Echo calls home. Unwilling to let that happen, Black Jack and Aquarius vow to do anything to keep her, her magic, and her world all safe from Vaughn's clutches.

Anything.

Black Jack is the guy with the top hat and gray eyes. He's a mellow, happy fellow who is rather hard to anger. He's rather tolerant and all around social and friendly. His first name is Black with his last name being Jack.

He later finds out that in another world he's named after a card game, thus requiring his friend from said world to call him "Black Jack". He feels honored that way.

He also has a pet rabbit, which frequents the wonderful abode under his hat. It's name is Rodney.

The girl in the green with the brown hair and green eyes is finally named "Echo". I was going to fumble with the letters to the word "mirror" but I changed my mind.

She's from our world. Both worlds are called "earth", but in Black Jack's world our laws of physics aren't exactly all the same. For example, the clouds in their world are like mirrors into ours. Their clouds are our puddles. So, his world knows of ours, but we don't know of his.

Echo is the key to unlocking a pathway between both worlds. She can go between them as she pleases, but doesn't learn this right away. In fact, her stumbling into Black Jack's world was by complete accident on a rainy day, when the portal for those with the gift is much easier to unlock.

Echo is a party girl. Outgoing and loud, and a little confused in what her priorities should be. She's set straight after stumbling into Black Jack's world.

Lastly is Aquarius, a water nymph. She's moody, sarcastic, and impatient. She is, however; an honestly good person. She can control water as she pleases, but she can't produce it. Not too much about her is known.
